This Diploma in Advanced Childcare Practice & Management (L4) is aimed at all Practitioners working in the childcare workforce at Level 3, such as Childminders, Nursery Practitioners, Pre-School Practitioners, out of school/holiday provision workers.
This program is best suited for experienced childcare practitioners, including childminders, nursery and pre-school practitioners, and staff working in out-of-school or holiday provision settings. It is also suited for those looking to advance their career by moving into management or supervisory roles within their current childcare setting as well as professionals interested in expanding their knowledge on child development theories, childcare legislation, and management practices.

Learners must hold a ‘full and relevant’ level 3 in Childcare and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy. Learners will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as they need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.
