As a nursery nurse or an early years educator, you will play an active role in children’s daily activities, ensuring their safety and nurturing their growth. The career path in childcare is diverse and flexible, with options to specialize in different age groups or settings, depending on your interests and skills.

Depending on the apprenticeship category you choose, you may work in different childcare settings, including nurseries, pre-schools, or family homes. During your apprenticeship placements, you will learn about different aspects of child development, awareness of health and safety, and how to plan and carry out engaging classroom activities.

FAQ’s

The cost of the courses varies. For the Paediatric First Aid course, it’s free for all Eden Apprentices, £60 + VAT for existing Eden customers who are not apprentices, and £90 + VAT for new Eden customers. The Child’s Developing Mind and SENCo courses also have similar pricing structures.

The Paediatric First Aid course consists of a 12-hour e-learning module and a 6-hour practical training session. The Child’s Developing Mind is a 90-minute online course. The SENCo course lasts for 8 weeks.

Yes, all our courses are accredited and meet all EYFS/Ofsted requirements.

These courses are designed for individuals working in childcare and education, including nursery practitioners, team leaders, and childminders.
